Years
ago I taught of live food and dead food. Live food being that which still created
life ie: fresh vegetables and fruits, seeds, nuts, sprouts, sprouted grains
and sprouted nuts etc. Dead foods being just that, dead i.e.: food that is cooked,
all pasteurized dairy, anything out of a box or a can and anything processed.
Guess what! Years later I found there was a movement out there forming called
the RAW food movement! Thus, our family fell perfectly into the description
of raw foodists, because we eat living foods as more than 75 % of our diet!
Simply stated RAW food is food that is still living or creates life! Food that
is cooked over 115 degrees starts to lose its natural enzymes. Enzymes are necessary
in aiding the body to break down any and all food. The less you make your body
work breaking down your food, the more energy your body will have! Many people
have asked me how I have so much energy. My reply is always the same
I
eat it! Living food has biophotons, living enzymes, antioxidants, whole vitamins
and minerals that feed your body. My personal diet is at least 80%-90% Raw,
with the other 15-10% being steamed grains and beans. Does it work? YES! Ask
any of our children how they feel and try it yourself! Visit our Familys
Healthy Adventure for more on our diet plan!
Enjoy our recipes, both RAW and unRAW!
